• Installing including rough in (first fix) of a variety of Split AC systems, Roof top condensers and associated AC systems

• Equipment Start Up’s - general HVAC, controls and hydronic, service support and warranty work on all installations

• Testing, inspecting installed systems and troubleshooting control issues

• Carrying out refurbishment work due to breakdown or maintenance inspections

• Providing accurate feedback information including completing test sheets, routine rounds inspection sheets and work dockets containing duration of maintenance activities and observations

• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• HVAC and Refrigeration /Journeyman Cert. training an asset, 3rd and 4th years may apply

• Experience trouble -shooting and servicing HVAC equipment and controls

• Willing to complete training in relevant areas as needed

• Required experience: HVAC: 3 years

• Trade certification for refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics is compulsory

Requirements

High school
diploma, GED or suitable
equivalent
Current driver’s
license and ability to drive a company vehicle
1+ year experience as
an HVAC Mechanic, and willingness to continue education in HVAC
field
Understanding of
advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and
heating
Excellent written,
verbal and interpersonal skills

Ability to work after
hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no
notice
Proficient in reading
schematics and work plans

Benefits

Salary: $37 - $42.00 per hour
