Position Summary: Experienced Apprentice Sheetmetal Technician(s) required for Commercial Service/Installation work for existing and new customers.
Job Responsibilities: Perform service repairs on existing building ductwork distribution systems Basic troubleshooting skills Assist in installation of various types of HVAC equipment and associated ductwork Installation of appliance venting, combustion air, etc Interpret blueprints, determining material takeoffs, ordering of necessary job materials Safe work practices, provide a high level of customer service Job Skills and Qualifications: Current Alberta Apprentice Certification Valid Alberta Driver’s License Basic understanding of mechanical systems Excellent Math and problem solving skills Ability to work alone and in a team environment Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required Why work at Ainsworth (a GDI company)?
