Introduction aux compétences de base nécessaires à la gestion d'une carrière professionnelle dans le milieu théâtral. Développer un plan de carrière, gérer les aspects légaux et financiers du métier (budget, taxes, contrats, conventions collectives), rédiger une demande de financement convaincante dans le domaine des arts.

Requirements:

1. Diplôme de premier cycle ou d'études supérieures en études théâtrales ou diplôme d'école professionnelle de théâtre. 2. Cinq ans d'expérience professionnelle en tant que directeur artistique ou administratif d'une compagnie de théâtre, d'un festival ou d'un organisme éducatif. 3. Expérience d'enseignement au niveau universitaire ou conservatoire. 4. Connaissance approfondie de la gestion de carrière (création de budget, négociation de conventions collectives, contrats d'interprètes, règles fiscales pour les artistes indépendants, rédaction de subventions, autoproduction et connaissance actuelle des compagnies de théâtre, associations et artistes canadiens).
