Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior AI Architect/Designer to lead the strategy, architecture, and implementation of enterprise Artificial Intelligence and Conversational AI solutions. This role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and citizen-centric AI solutions to support large-scale contact centre modernization initiatives within a public sector environment.





Key Responsibilities



  • Develop enterprise AI strategy including conceptual, logical, and physical architectures.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of AI and Conversational AI solutions aligned with enterprise standards, security, and accessibility requirements.

  • Design and implement Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent agents, and agentic AI frameworks.

  • Architect knowledge-driven AI solutions using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and semantic search.

  • Establish AI governance frameworks, model lifecycle management, and operational controls.

  • Design conversational AI solutions including chatbots, voicebots, and virtual assistants.

  • Create conversational journeys, dialog flows, intent models, and prompt engineering strategies.

  • Implement AI guardrails, safety controls, and response validation techniques.

  • Design human-in-the-loop systems and escalation strategies for AI-assisted service delivery.

  • Integrate AI solutions with contact centre platforms and enterprise systems (CRM, identity, workflow, knowledge management).

  • Architect API-based, microservices, and event-driven integrations.

  • Lead workshops, architecture discussions, and stakeholder engagements.

  • Develop architecture documentation, implementation plans, and technology roadmaps.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, and accessibility standards.





Qualifications

Technical Skills



  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and software delivery.

  • 4+ years of experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions.

  • Expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent agents, and AI frameworks.

  • Strong experience with RAG, vector databases, semantic search, and knowledge repositories.

  • Experience in conversational AI design including chatbots, IVR, and virtual assistants.

  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, AI safety, and guardrail design.

  • Experience with AI-enabled contact centre solutions and platforms such as Amazon Connect, Genesys, NICE, or Cisco.

  • Integration experience with CRM, workflow, identity, and enterprise systems.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).

  • Experience with AI tools such as Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar.

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.

Core Skills & Experience



  • 7+ years delivering enterprise architecture, solution blueprints, and technical designs.

  • Strong experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Proven ability to lead architecture design sessions and stakeholder workshops.

  • Experience conducting technology assessments and proof-of-concepts.

  • Strong knowledge of risk management, architecture governance, and modernization strategies.

Domain Experience



  • Experience leading AI and customer experience transformation initiatives.

  • Experience modernizing IVR and digital self-service platforms.

  • Experience designing AI-powered citizen-facing service solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of speech analytics, customer journey analytics, and engagement optimization.

General Skills



  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

  • Ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.

Public Sector Experience



  • Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.

  • Knowledge of public sector architecture standards, governance, and methodologies.

  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs.
