Job Description - Assistant Concession Manager

Winnipeg Football Club is growing our Food and Beverage team by adding a dedicated and experienced Assistant Concession Manager. You will oversee the efficient operation of all concession stands within the stadium, ensuring an exceptional fan experience while maintaining high standards of quality and service. A key responsibility of this role includes reconciling all financials and end-of-game reporting.

What You Will Do:

Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of all concession stands, ensuring timely opening and closing, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and manage concession staff, ensuring high performance and customer service standards.

Financial Reconciliation: Accurately reconcile all financial transactions and sales for each event, ensuring completeness and accuracy in reporting.

End-of-Game Reporting: Prepare detailed end-of-game reports summarizing sales, inventory usage, and financial performance.

Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure sufficient stock for events while minimizing waste.

Compliance: Ensure all concession operations comply with health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage requirements.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, consistently delivering a premium experience to guests.

Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the budget for concession operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

 

Must Haves:

Proven supervisory or leadership experience in the food and beverage industry. Strong financial acumen with experience in financial reconciliation and reporting.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the Princess Auto event schedule.

Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service operations.
