The Cape Group is a three-generation, family-run, vertically integrated real estate group of companies operating across Western Canada since 1956. With over 60 years of experience in development, construction, and property management, we’ve built a diverse portfolio and earned many industry firsts.

From high-rises to warehouses, office buildings to master-planned communities, we create high-quality projects that enhance the vibrancy of neighborhoods, and we make sure to have fun while we’re at it. Our commitment to quality and strong relationships is at the forefront of everything we do.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Controller (Contract) to join our finance team on a maternity leave contract. Experience mentoring junior staff and navigating audits and payroll compliance is essential.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g., Sage 300CRE, MRI, SAP Concur, QuickBooks)
