Eliot’s Brain Injury programs provide high-quality, innovative programming to help adults with brain injuries enhance their lives, develop personal skills, and engage in community activities while building supportive relationships.


Our residential program in Burlington is searching for an Assistant Program Manager to assist with offering a person-centered continuum of services that provides high quality programming to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program offers support and opportunities for individuals to enrich their lives, develop social and daily living skills, and build social and community connections.


The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a Residential program and maintaining a culture that promotes client strengths, preferences and independence.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist in day to day operations and overall service delivery of a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or brain injury.

  • Assist in the hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, supervision and disciplinary action of program staff to include weekly supervision and completion of staff performance evaluations. 

  • Assist with maintaining documentation of all staff meetings and supervisions and assessing the training needs of staff and working with supervisors to address identified needs.

  • Assist with scheduling staff and ensure adequate and appropriate coverage for the program

  • Develop daily program schedules in accordance with individuals’ needs. Communicate schedules to staff through written and oral communication.

  • Assist manager in scheduling and conducting quarterly fire drills; document drills appropriately. Train staff on fire safety, emergency procedures, safety plan, and other required training as requested by the supervisor.

  • Assist manager with all aspects of client programming/documentation, including the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISP) and behavior plans. Complete assessments; develop goals and objectives based on individual preferences and goals. Assist in identifying strengths, cultural preferences and motivations as it relates to goals. Ensure all written materials are written in measurable, observable, behavioral, objective and clinical terms.

  • Complete all documentation, related to an individuals’ treatment and/or program operations in a clear, timely and well-organized manner as specified by both Agency and DDS/MRC and ABI waiver policy and regulations.

  • Ensure that program and client records are maintained in accordance with Agency/Division standards and applicable licensing and quality assurance regulations. Assist in actively identifying deficiencies and address them in a timely manner.

  • Assist the manager with all aspects of service delivery and case management of individuals.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and one year related experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults.

  • Ability to advocate for community support and services on behalf of the individuals.

  • Ability to identify effective strategies to address clinical issues/events.

  • Ability to use good judgment and work with minimal supervision.



Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm


 

Annual Salary

$50,000 - $55,000 USD
