The Trailhead program is the start of your epic journey at Critical Mass. During your initial 12-weeks, you will embark on a custom-built learning journey to understand what we do, who we are, and how we make award-winning work with our clients. Our goal is to integrate you into the amazing work we do here at Critical Mass, and support you as part of the team to grow your career with us!
Our Summer 2024 Trailhead Cohort will likely commences June 17, 2024 or later.
All applications are reviewed and interviewed on a rolling basis.
Support the broader operations team, interfacing with various agency teams and play an active role in the implementation of core agency processes; play an integral part in agency function by ensuring process deliverables are completed on time, shepherding agency teams to adhere to process, and supporting with financial operational analysis
You will:
- Support meeting coordination, organization and follow-ups
- Support agency financial and administration process that enables production delivery
- Contribute to the deliverables of Business Affairs
- Support Business Affairs contract and licensing management and storage
- Support Art Buying cataloging, license expiration management, and asset
management
- Review creative materials and advise Agency teams on talent, flag potential copyright issues and advise on next steps.
- Production and Project Management:
- Review AICP, AICE, animation and music bids with Producer
- Work with cost consultants for adherence to appropriate Client budgeting and contractual guidelines
- Create and issue appropriate award documents, insurance, licensing and talent agreements and vendor purchase orders
- Flag possible legal, clearance, talent, and/or logistical issues; suggest solutions
- Review bids with Producers
- Oversee vendor set up/payment process in partnership with finance.
- Advise Agency teams and Clients on union rules, regulations and best practices.
- Evaluate and manage union claims.
- Create music vendor agreements.
- Issue talent agreements and foreign talent contracts.
- Issue purchase orders, contracts, insurance declarations, and releases.
- Review 3rd party licenses and contracts
You have:
- Novice to proficient level skills in research and business management
- Novice to proficient level skills in project management and a solution-oriented approach to addressing challenges
- Novice to proficient level skills in developing presentations and presentation skills
- Basic understanding of agency capabilities and focus areas
- Comfortable supporting an operations or project management team, working in ambiguity, and collaborating in a high volume/ fast-paced agency environment
