About Us
Ruth & Naomi’s Mission is a Christian faith-based organization dedicated to transforming lives impacted by homelessness, poverty, and addiction through the love of God. For over 20 years, we’ve been providing meals, shelter, and recovery support in Chilliwack. Today, we serve over 500 meals daily, provide housing to over 200 individuals each night, and walk with dozens of people in our men’s and women’s recovery programs.

The Role
We are seeking a strategic, compassionate, and experienced Associate Director of Recovery to lead our men’s and women’s recovery programs. You will oversee Recovery Managers, ensure program consistency, monitor occupancy and outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across the department. Your leadership will ensure that our recovery services align with Ruth & Naomi’s Mission’s values and our Continuum of Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all recovery programs, ensuring high-quality, consistent services


• Supervise and support Recovery Managers, holding teams accountable to performance goals


• Collaborate with the Intake Coordinator to maintain occupancy, streamline admissions, and monitor waitlists


• Ensure accurate, timely reporting and data integrity using StepsForwarddb


• Analyze program outcomes, identify gaps, and implement improvements


• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning


• Participate in organizational leadership meetings and strategic planning


• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and organizational policies


• Represent RAN Recovery in internal and external forums

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, social services, or a related field (Master’s preferred)


• Senior leadership experience in addiction recovery or social services


• Strong data literacy and reporting skills


• Ability to lead managers and drive program performance


• Alignment with Ruth & Naomi’s Mission’s Christian values and a willingness to sign our Statement of Faith


• Compassion, collaboration, and accountability in leadership style
