The Opportunity:
This is a client -facing, sales -driven role focused on supporting and growing an existing book of business across personal insurance lines, primarily auto and home, while identifying opportunities to expand client relationships by connecting them with additional products and services. Working within a busy and established office, you will engage with clients daily, providing quotes, advising on coverage, and contributing to overall business growth.
Unlike traditional sales roles, there is no cold calling required, clients are already coming to you. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys a steady flow of inbound activity and wants to build a successful book through consistency and strong client engagement.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings previous sales or customer -facing experience and is comfortable working in a fast -paced, client -focused environment. You are confident, personable, and enjoy interacting with people on a daily basis.
You are motivated by results and take ownership of your performance, while maintaining a professional and solutions -focused approach. You are organized, adaptable, and bring a positive, team -oriented mindset, along with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
• Sell and service personal lines insurance products, primarily auto and home
• Advise clients on appropriate coverages based on their individual needs
• Identify opportunities to cross -sell additional products and services
• Support the growth and retention of an existing client base
• Complete front -line risk assessments in line with underwriting guidelines
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional manner
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to achieving individual and team sales goals
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client financial and personal information
Qualifications:
• Previous sales or customer service experience (2+ years preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship -building skills
• Comfortable working in a fast -paced, client -facing environment
• Ability to identify opportunities and confidently recommend solutions
• Motivated by performance and commission -based earnings
• General Insurance License (or willingness to obtain within 2 months)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Positive, team -oriented mindset
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Ability to successfully complete criminal and financial background checks
Benefits
• Base salary starting at approximately $50,000 annually
• Commission structure (realistic first -year earnings ~$70,000+)
