Associate Lawyer

About the Role

Corporate Immigration Law Firm is seeking an Associate Immigration Lawyer to join our Toronto office. Our boutique law firm offers a collaborative, collegial, and positive work environment, with opportunities to work on a diverse range of immigration matters.

You will play a key role in managing client files, providing legal advice primarily with respect to solicitor-based work permit and permanent resident immigration matters in a fast-paced, often time sensitive environment. Additional opportunity to support Federal Court litigation, citizenship applications, and humanitarian and compassionate applications. Early responsibility with autonomy, supported by partners and team members in a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or J.D. degree. Recent Calls welcome.


• 1–2 years of Canadian immigration law experience.


• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.


• Basic understanding of temporary and permanent residence pathways, including PNP programs.

This role is in-person for the first 3 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) thereafter.
