PulseMedica, an Edmonton-based start-up, is looking for an Optical Assembly Technician to join our world-class team. This person will be responsible for assisting our engineers by assembling our laser treatment and imaging devices, setting up bench top experiments, and maintaining lab equipment. They will work closely with both our Optical and Mechanical Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is familiar with test equipment and proficient in optical alignment.

The Opportunity
Our Jr. Optical Systems Developer will be responsible for performing a variety of technical duties including performing functions associated with manufacturing operations. This position will support our engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
The Optical Systems Developer will use sophisticated programs and hardware to qualify and debug novel prototypes and equipment.. Duties may be related to execution of laboratory experiments, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment, technical support of one or more production processes, product test and troubleshooting, and technical analyses and problem-solving.
