Nous recherchons des candidat(e)s pour un poste d’auxiliaire de recherche aux cycles supérieurs afin de soutenir un projet de recherche financé par le CRSH portant sur les conséquences sociales, émotionnelles, professionnelles et psychologiques cachées de la résilience chez les travailleurs immigrants dans trois provinces canadiennes.
Les auxiliaires de recherche participeront au recrutement des participant(e)s ainsi qu’à la collecte de données. Le projet est dirigé par le Dr Charles Gyan à l’École de travail social de l’Université McGill et repose sur une collaboration interdisciplinaire et interprovinciale axée sur les expériences de travail des immigrants, les inégalités en milieu de travail et la justice sociale.

We are seeking applicants for a Graduate Research Assistant to support a SSHRC-funded research project examining the hidden social, emotional, occupational, and mental health consequences of resilience among immigrant workers across three Canadian provinces. The Graduate Research Assistants will support participant recruitment, and data collection. The project is led by Dr. Charles Gyan at the School of Social Work, McGill University and involves interdisciplinary and interprovincial collaboration focused on immigrant labour experiences, workplace inequities, and social justice.
Requirements
Must be a current McGill University Graduate student.
Applicants must be fluent in either French or English or both;
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong quantitative research skills, including experience with survey data management and statistical analysis
Ability to commit to 10-12 hours of work per week.
Desirable Qualities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative on new tasks and challenges.
