Job Summary:
We're accepting applications for an experiencedAV Designerto join our amazing AV Integration team. This will be a hybrid position and will be based out of our Markham, ON office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create AV system designs in CAD software for board rooms, conference rooms, training rooms, command centers, council halls and other institutional and commercial systems
Support pre-sales and post-sales opportunities by providing technical expertise
Provide recommendations on AV solutions, highlight features and risks
Must stay up-to-date on emerging AV technologies
Occasionally attend site visits, construction and/or project meetings with account managers and clients
Review construction blueprints, drawings and photos through design process
Work with installation team and technicians to solve issues
Provide drawings, wiring schedules, rack layout, documentation
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of 2 years as a AV designer within the commercial AV industry
Experience with AutoCAD is preferred
Knowledge of audio, video, and control systems as well as architectural and cabling requirements
Knowledgeable with Crestron, Qsys, Extron is preferred
CTS certification is a plus (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as professional appearance
Industry recognized training: Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
Safety:
Bondable, clean driving record
