About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety\-focused AZ/DZ Vacuum Truck Operator Trainee to join our operations team. In this hands\-on role, you will receive training to safely operate and drive vacuum trucks while supporting industrial, municipal, and environmental services projects.

As a Vacuum Truck Operator Trainee, you will learn to:

• Operate and drive vacuum trucks servicing industrial, wastewater, water, and hydro\-excavation projects;
  


• Perform pre\-trip, on\-route, and post\-trip inspections of vehicles, systems, and equipment;
  


• Assist with loading, unloading, and handling vacuum hoses and equipment (lifting up to 50 lbs.);
  


• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time;
  


• Operate equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  

About You

Your skills and experience include:

• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license
  


• Clean driver’s abstract in good standing
  


• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
  


• Ability to drive manual transmissions (13\- or 18\-speed) is an asset
  


• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong commitment to safety
  

Experience with vacuum trucks, wastewater, or hydro\-excavation equipment is an asset, but full training will be provided.

This opportunity includes:

• Competitive wages starting at $30\-32/hour;
  


• Potential to earn $80,000–$100,000 annually, working full\-time with shift premiums and overtime;
  


• Full\-time, year\-round work (50–60 hours per week);

• Overtime paid after 44 hours per week;
  


• $150 boot allowance after one year of service;
