The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banking Finance Transformation Manager to support our efforts in driving strategic initiatives and transformation projects within the finance function of our banking clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and financial processes, coupled with strong business analytical skillsets around key banking finance ERP/EPM tools (like SAP, Oracle, etc.), project management, and change management skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve financial performance.

In addition to client-facing responsibilities, as a Manager, you will also engage in internal EY initiatives and business development activities, contributing to the growth of our brand, our business, and our people.

Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with technology to define requirements, design solutions, and drive change. Key projects may include business support in ERP and or EPM implementations (SAP, Oracle etc.) optimizing budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as improving financial close, consolidation, and reporting cycles through the integration of technology solutions.


• Design and implement finance transformation initiatives, focusing on the integration of technology to modernize the finance function within banking organizations.


• Assess current financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.


• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of transformation projects.


• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on banking operations, regulatory requirements, financial processes, and industry best practices.


• Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on new processes and systems.


• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the banking and finance industry.

Skills and attributes for success

• 6+ years of experience in banking finance, with a focus on reporting, transformation, process improvement, at a Bank or a Consulting firm


• A Masters-degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.


• Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements.


• Proven track record of executing transformation projects within the banking or financial services industry.


•  Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.


•  Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good working knowledge of key banking finance ERP/EPM tools (like SAP, Oracle, etc.)


• Experience with ESG-related topics
