Banquet Server

A Banquet Server serves food and beverage to guests, provides table maintenance, and helps to setup and tear down the event venue. This casual, part-time position appeals to people who can appreciate flexible scheduling. Successful applicants often have employment elsewhere or go to school or do not need to work full time. Typically, though, the more available you are to work, the more work you will get.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Greet guests in a friendly, enthusiastic manner


• 
  Serve guests food and beverage


• 
  Setup and tear down of banquet functions in a timely manner


• 
  Ensure cleanliness of service areas


• 
  Read and understand Banquet Event Orders and following every detail


• 
  Work closely with Events department and Culinary department to ensure setup of function meets standards


• 
  Work quickly and efficiently with team members and individually


• 
  Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when transporting equipment and any injuries are reported immediately to leader


• 
  Handle equipment and linens and ensure these are in proper working order, e.g. no rips or stains on linen


• 
  Complete other duties as assigned in a timely manner


• 
  Comply with Black Rock Resort Policies and procedures

  Food and beverage experience an asset

  Must be able to lift 40 pounds
