Join us as a Beverage Cart Attendant at Glen Arbour Golf Club, where your “office” is one of Nova Scotia’s most beautiful golf courses. As a Beverage Cart Attendant, you’ll be right in the heart of the action—traveling the course, engaging with members and guests, and keeping golfers refreshed throughout their round. You’ll play a key role in creating memorable on‑course experiences by providing friendly, efficient service, confidently suggesting menu items, managing special requests and allergies, and ensuring every interaction is welcoming, accurate, and professional.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives on connecting with people, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service in an outdoor setting. Candidates may be considered for full-time or part-time seasonal employment. 

How you’ll spend your day:

1. Deliver prompt, friendly, and personalized service to members on the golf course.  
   


2. Maintain complete knowledge of Bunkers (Snack Bar) and Deerfield Pub menus, including daily specials.  


3. Accurately process sales, handle payments, and complete daily cash-outs and reports.  


4. Take full responsibility for beverage and snack inventory, treating it with the same care as cash.  


5. Operate the beverage cart across the course, prepared for varying weather conditions.  


6. Assist with stocking and replenishment of food and beverage items as needed.  


7. Verify legal drinking age by requesting and checking identification in accordance with regulations.  


8. Keep the beverage cart clean, organized, and fully stocked before and after each shift.  


9. Follow all Health & Safety, sanitation, and Smart Serve guidelines.  


10. Complete daily opening/closing duties and contribute to weekly cleaning tasks.  

What will help you thrive:

• Two (2) years of experience in customer service role  


• Smart Serve & Food Handler certification


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills  


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team  


• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow  


• Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting


• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
