Job Description - BI Analyst

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a BI Analyst who will lead the production of quarterly enterprise conduct risk reporting at the committee, senior executive and board level. The successful candidate will support a culture of continuous improvement and implement risk reporting process improvements including updates to the Business Intelligence process.

Responsibilities:

Leads and executes data/business analysis using various internal data sources to support the understanding of conduct risk management.
Delivers analytic outputs and business insights, including improving information presentation/delivery.
Oversees the quality of data visualization presentations and layouts of risk reporting.
Supports all relevant action plans to ensure reporting requirements are met.
Ensures all risk reporting standard operating procedures are up to date.
Works with relevant partners to update/add additional data sources.
Manages relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Ensures risk reporting adheres to documented methodologies related to Business Intelligence and reporting.
Leads relationships with corporate and/or control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements.
Stays knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assesses potential impact on reporting.
Assesses/identifies key issues and escalates to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders and business management where required.
Maintains a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure and in alignment with risk appetite.
Identifies, mitigates, and reports on risk issues per enterprise policy/guidelines and ensures appropriate escalation processes are followed.
Ensures business operations comply with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g., segregation of duties, approvals).
Manages oversight process, risk-based identification and monitoring of related risks and regulatory compliance across the supported functions, while ensuring key controls and processes are effectively managed.
Oversees or leads the facilitation and/or implementation of action/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues.
May provide data visualization and analytical thought leadership and stay current on development in data mining and the application of data science.

Desired Skill Set:

5 years of proven experience in BI & Reporting
5 years of expertise in Business Intelligence
3 years of Previous management
Experience in Tableau
MS Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

Nice To Have:

Prior experience atFI
Risk Assessment experience
