· Gather and prepare data needed for various investigations.
· Conduct data investigations to uncover embedded information, trends, patterns, and insights within the company's data records.
· Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in easily digestible storytelling formats.
· Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and resource for other stakeholders within the company.
· Transform historical and current data into decision-making tools.
· Design and develop dashboards; generate both periodic and ad hoc reports.
· Facilitate mutual understanding between the analytics department and other departments to ensure clarity on business and data aspects of projects.
· Implement data governance standards and data stewardship structures.
· Ensure data quality and validity by developing data quality standards.
· Ensure data security and prevent unauthorized access.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry, focusing on business analysis, financial analysis, or actuarial analysis, including business intelligence, data analysis, and data stewardship.
· Proven experience with Power BI, Excel and R.
