Biotechnology Technologist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Biotechnology Technologist with expertise in molecular biology and fermentation to support research, development, and production activities. The successful candidate will contribute to strain engineering, bioprocess optimization, and analytical testing in a collaborative lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Perform molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, cloning, PCR, transformation, expression analysis).

·       Support microbial strain construction and validation.

·       Operate and maintain bioreactors/fermenters at bench and pilot scales.

·       Monitor fermentation parameters, collect samples, and conduct downstream assays.

·       Prepare, analyze, and report experimental data with accuracy and attention to detail.

·       Maintain laboratory equipment, documentation, and compliance with safety protocols.

·       BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field.

·       Hands-on experience with molecular biology methods and microbial fermentation.

·       Strong organizational and technical problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
