Sherwood Park Manor Long-Term Care Home

Are you passionate about supporting seniors and contributing to a dynamic community? Do you envision playing a key role in a transformative redevelopment project? Sherwood Park Manor, a respected non-profit long-term care home serving Brockville and surrounding areas since 1975, is seeking committed and skilled individuals to help shape its future.
As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of our home, ensuring the highest standards of care, transparency, and sustainability

We are looking for individuals who:

Bring expertise: Experience in governance, healthcare, finance, education, law, HR, communications, or community leadership
Show commitment: A deep dedication to the care and dignity of seniors.
Contribute meaningfully: A willingness to invest time and expertise to support our mission
Collaborate effectively: The ability to work as part of a diverse, dedicated team.

Responsibilities include:

Regular board meetings: Participate in approximately 10 meetings per year
Committee Involvement: Serve on board committees as needed
Strategic Support: Champion and support the initiatives and policy development that drive excellence in long-term care.
Advocacy: Be an influential advocate for quality care solutions and sustainability within the home.

Previous board or volunteer experience is an asset, but not required.
