Job Summary
Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Precinct Services department is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Building Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a specialization in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead, the Building Mechanical Maintenance Technician (BMMT) is responsible for performing various maintenance projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, which includes acquiring resources and planning work activities to deliver projects according to plan.
