Apply locations Canada Remote Winnipeg, Manitoba Calgary, Alberta Toronto, Ontario Vaughan, Ontario time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R17066 The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing day to day field support, support application data upgrades, optimizations, and acquisitions, and conduct training within an assigned area. Manage, test, and conduct system enhancements, changes, and utilities to ensure functionality prior to field distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical and Business Support: Act as a subject matter expert on and provide troubleshooting, user advice, and training to the team.
Data Analysis: Interpret data and analyze results to drive process improvements and identify business priorities.
System Management: Manage, test, and implement system enhancements, ensuring functionality and efficiency before deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues, enhancing user experience and system reliability.
Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve data collection, quality, and accessibility.
Project Coordination: Lead special projects by identifying data sources, gathering data, and providing in-depth analyses.
SQL Utilization: Use basic SQL skills to query databases and troubleshoot field issues.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of IT work experience with enterprise application support.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with enterprise applications. Basic understanding of SQL is an asset.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the transportation, industrial, environmental or waste management industry is an asset.
