Job Description - Business Development Manager - Eastern Canada

Vector Corrosion Technologies (VCT) is looking for an ambitious, energetic, and experienced Bilingual Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele in Eastern Canada. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused on Eastern Canada with the province of Quebec a priority.
  • Educate the market to increase awareness of the Company and develop project opportunities.
  • Develop working relationships with key owners, consultants and contractors that are influential in key market segments and support them as a technical specialist.
  • Conduct research to identify and pursue new customers and new markets.
  • Promote the company’s products/services including technical.
  • Conduct presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Support and foster Vector’s safety programs and behavior-based safety culture at all times.

  • Ability to speak French and English is a requirement. Please submit your resume in English
  • A formal education in Engineering, Material Science, Marketing or Business from an accredited university or college required.
  • Relevant industry experience in: Construction sales, material sales, technical / specification selling to engineers, owners and contractors.
  • 5+ years of Business-to-Business sales required.
  • Knowledge and experience in selling long sales cycle projects.
  • Ability and willingness to Travel, 50%+/- but at times extensively as needed. This position will be responsible for covering in the province of Quebec and the rest of eastern Canada (except Toronto)
  • Must reside within the sales territory above.
  • Vector is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must currently reside in QC and be legally entitled to work in Canada. Please note, we do not offer any type of sponsorship.
