We are looking for a results-oriented and customer focused Business Development Manager for Southern Ontario Region.

You need to reside in Southern Ontario.This is an individual contributor role.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES

  • Implement business development strategies for a targeted territory;
  • Analyze active and potential customers and set up an action plan specific to their needs;
  • Increase market shared by offering our complete360 degreesolution;
  • Strengthen the team’s commitment towards common goals;
  • Develop and maintain exemplary relationships with customers, partners, colleagues and vendors;
  • Optimize customer profitability through various initiatives;
  • Develop strategies for new contracts and renewals;
  • Resolve the OHS challenges of clients by proposing innovative solutions trough a consultative approach.


THE SUCCESSUL CANDIDATE

  • Is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals;
  • Has a passion for excellence, a strong desire to succeed and a commitment to personal and professional development;
  • Has excellent communication and relationship building skills with the disciplined planning and execution abilities that are essential for this role;
  • Exhibits strong computer skills and working knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office and has a valid driver’s license;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a self-starting autonomous environment from a home office setting;
  • Has a desire to grow as a leader within SPI.
  • Has a proven ability to sell high, deep and wide in customer organizations.
  • Is a successful leader through direct and/or indirect leadership.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Consultative seller;
  • 5 years + experience in a similar role;
  • Extensive experience and contacts to match withina wide range of markets.
  • Experience with Health and Safety products and solutions a definite plus;
  • Someone who can travel;
  • Valid driver’s license.
