As a Business Development Representative, you play a crucial role in LOU-TEC's growth and success through your drive — maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while developing your territory to uncover new business opportunities.

Your day-to-day:

• Identify new business opportunities by proactively prospecting new customers.


• Build and develop long-term relationships with existing customers to maximize sales.


• Present product benefits and features persuasively.


• Tailor your sales arguments to each customer's specific needs.


• Negotiate the terms and conditions of sales contracts to reach mutually beneficial agreements.


• Follow the sales process from start to finish, ensuring customer satisfaction.


• Develop strategic sales plans for your territory in order to meet and exceed established targets.


• Take an active part in performance review meetings and adjust strategies accordingly.


• Keep accurate records of sales activities, opportunities and results.


• Track market trends and the competition to stay informed on industry developments.

Your profile:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in sales.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in French.


• Ability to safely and repeatedly lift, move and handle loads of up to 20 lbs (9 kg), in accordance with occupational health and safety standards.


• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.


• In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and persuasion tactics.


• In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and business development strategies.


• Results-oriented, with the ability to meet sales targets.


• Initiative and the ability to identify growth opportunities.


• Adaptability to market changes and customer needs.
