Job Description - Business Development Representative (SaaS)

Our client is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative in the SaaS space to play a pivotal role in our expanding team. As an SDR, you will spearhead efforts to generate new business opportunities within the Ratings & Reviews and Consumer Content sectors. Your focus will be on engaging key stakeholders, demonstrating the value of our platform in enhancing product visibility and reputation through authentic customer testimonials and reviews.


Responsibilities:


  • Initiate outreach to prospective clients within the Ratings & Reviews and Consumer Content sectors, including major companies seeking to leverage customer feedback.
  • Utilize cold calling techniques to engage with decision makers over the phone, presenting our B2B SaaS solution and emphasizing the value of organic reviews and testimonials.
  • Use virtual platforms to conduct product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing our software's benefits in enhancing brand credibility and customer engagement.
  • Identify key decision makers and build relationships to effectively communicate our unique value proposition.

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated success in business development, sales development or inside sales, ideally within a SaaS/B2B environment focused on consumer content or reputation management.
  • Proven experience in cold calling and engaging prospects over the phone to generate sales opportunities.
  • Understanding of the Ratings & Reviews and Consumer Content sectors, with exposure to marketing technology or related industries.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

Compensation:


  • Base salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
  • Commission bonuses ranging from $20,000 - $30,000 annually based on performance.
