About Faber

Faber is an app-based platform which directly connects construction companies to local construction workers looking for temporary or full-time work, operated by a passion for providing a more transparent, reliable, and accountable way for both employers and employees to connect with each other.

About the Role

We are immediately hiring an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our Vancouver team. This role will meet with new and existing clients, present Faber's labour solutions, coordinate and secure contracts, and maintain relationships in the local construction industry. You will be relied on to act as a brand representative for Faber, supporting in our goal of creating a connected workforce proudly building a better world.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new sales leads within the local construction industry, with the intention of creating long term relationships with clients who will utilize Faber's temporary labour platform on a consistent basis

• Schedule face-to-face site visits and meetings with clients while acting as Faber’s brand representative

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships, ensure client labour needs are being met and any issues are quickly addressed

• Present Faber’s temporary labour solutions to clients and pursue contracts

• Support with closing contracts

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth

• Support with ensuring sales targets are met

Skills and Requirements

Must have experience in construction sales or staffing in the Calgary construction industry

• Ability to visit client offices and construction sites all over the Metro Vancouver region

• Experience in temporary labour or construction sales

• Desire to pursue business opportunities and generate new clients

• Strong time management and ability to create your own schedule and tasks without much oversight

• Strong understanding of construction and how to sell to clients within the construction industry

• Ability to create and maintain relationships with key clients

• Proficiency with CRM and IT tools, experience with Hubspot

• Desire to continue developing as a sales leader in the construction industry
