Business Information Management Analyst Risk

Summary of day-to-day responsibilities:

• Dual role of project control accountabilities with a healthy dose of data-focused business analysis to define data consumption patterns and strategies. Create and maintain alignment between a kanban-board-based data analysis team’s sprint-based work and the integrated project plan of a much larger project of which the data analysis team is a sub-team. Perform and document analysis to support developing data consumption strategies.
• Ensure work is accurately reflected in Jira. Provide input to keeper of the integrated project plan for them to maintain plan. Develop and maintain issue logs. Discover and document unmet business needs for data to support risk intelligence. Maintain project repositories of documents in Confluence. Prepare documents for various recurring meetings including minutes, action/issue logs etc. Develop presentation documentation as required for project teams. Develop status reports.
• As part of this two-project team, prime responsibility will be to:
o Use Jira and Confluence to support the Data Modelling team and the Data Strategy team.
o Apply superior general analysis skills to help develop data use strategies that will guide future data acquisition and build of new data capabilities.
o Specific recurring reporting to be determined.
o Manage administration of all activities with all required partners (Risk Data Management, Risk business units, Project Finance, project PMO, TS project teams, external partners).
o Manage reporting and tracking for resource utilization.
o Exercise discretion in managing correspondence and information, escalating issues where appropriate.
o Act as central point of information and communication for core team members, management, business partners and other stakeholders. Perform as our common anchor point and information clearinghouse.
o Tools (in descending order of priority): Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint, Power Designer desired. Knowledge and experience maintaining a central repository of analysis documents, project plans, reports, research, etc.
