Job Description - Buyer

Axcess Talent Management Solutions, a leader in innovative talent acquisition, is excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a skilled Buyer. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, where every member is valued and plays a pivotal role in driving success.

Compensation: Details as per Employment Contract.

Shift Schedule: Full -time, with specific hours detailed in the Employment Contract.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely availability of materials/parts and services, maintaining quality standards.
  • Accurate accounting and usage tracking of all materials.
  • Effective handling of Purchase Orders through Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
  • Analyze MRP reports and oversee warranty claims with vendors.
  • Address Purchase Order/Invoice discrepancies and generate manual Purchase Orders for shop floor.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, along with preparing and managing RFP/RFQs.
  • Coordinate deliveries, engage with cross -functional teams, and contribute to organizational goals.
  • Maintain workplace health and safety standards and adhere to company policies.
  • Regular reporting and various additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Purchasing Management Association of Canada Certification II or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in purchasing.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid knowledge of purchasing practices, excellent organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast -paced environment, multitask, and effectively manage time.

Physical Work Demands: Regular need to stand, walk, or sit; use hands for computers and office equipment; and sufficient vision and hearing.
