Job Description - C# .Net - Developer - Senior

WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

Design, develop, and maintain applications within the team's scope.
Develop and maintain operational and development platforms.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and create roadmaps.
Support and operate the applications and services managed by the team.
Assist in resolving production issues when deeper expertise is needed.
Communicate with users and other teams on project delivery and production quality.
Engage in QA and UAT testing for software development.
Participate in Change Management and Release Management (CMRM) processes.
Conduct data analysis for user needs or improvement purposes.

Profile
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Have:

8+ years of software development experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Core (ideally ASP.NET and MVC).
Hands on experience with data manipulation and transformation.
Hands on experience developing and deploying microservices, REST APIs.
Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines (ex: Github, Jenkins); and containerization (ex: Kubernetes, Docker).
Familiarity with Spark, Azure, AKS, Hadoop/HDInsight.
Good understanding of SQL, relational data modelling and database engines.
Capacity to interact or participate in front-end development (ex: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.JS, etc.).
Familiarity with Scrum methodology and software development lifecycles.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in a complex IT environment.
Experience working in the financial services industry or with accounting models.

Education: University degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.

Languages: English and French

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
