Camp Counsellor, Seasonal

10XTO is a world-class athletic facility with 90,000 sq. ft. of both indoor space and terraces, designed to embrace guests and members in a lifestyle dedicated to the ultimate in health, wellness, and balance. 10XTO will be staffed by the most outstanding professionals and outfitted with a contrast zone, squash courts, tennis courts, state of the art weight and cardio machines, classes, a golf simulator and a fully staffed children’s play zone.  

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counsellor to be part of our 10XTO team for March Break (March 16th - March 20th). As a Camp Counsellor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children in the Camp program. You will lead activities and ensure their well-being while fostering their personal growth and development.

Role and Responsibilities

  Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.

  
  


• 
  

  Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical fitness.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide support and guidance to campers in various settings, including arts and crafts, sports, nature exploration, and group games.

  
  


• 
  

  Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging respect, cooperation, and inclusivity among all campers.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with campers’ parents or guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to early childhood education and child development.

  
  


• 
  

  Clean areas at the end of the activity.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings, as well as being camp counsellor, is an asset

  
  


• 
  

  Physically active and enjoys playing sports. 

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to develop children’s love for sports.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with campers, parents, and staff.

  
  


• 
  

  Current First Aid and CPR.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be available for the entire duration of the camp program
