Campaigns Director, Canada

CitizenGO is an international NGO (Non-profit organization) with its headquarters in Madrid, Spain. 

We are looking for an unapologetic activist, who is ready to join our cause to support the right to life, the natural family, religious liberty -- and to help us lead our 12.4 million members.

Our platform focuses on making a political impact by using online petitions and grassroots campaigns in 12 languages: German, French, Italian, English, Spanish, Hungarian, Croatian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, and Slovak.

The impact you can make as the Campaigns Director for Canada is transformational: your mission will be to empower Canadian non-profits and individuals to create positive social change while growing CitizenGO into a premier organization in the field of conservative online activism in Canada.

Are you ready to take on that challenge?

The Campaigns Director for Canada will manage and coordinate campaigns developed for our Canadian users.

Main tasks will include:

1. Plan and execute local Canadian campaigns for life, family, and freedom (in English).

2. Networking with like-minded organizations to build effective coalitions.

3. Developing campaign strategies

4. Copywriting

5. Online fundraising

6. Proofreading or editing

7. Attend conferences, training, or meetings (as needed). 

8. Press Releases or related media work (occasionally) 

9. Offline stunts or petition deliveries (occasionally) 

10. Direct lobby (occasionally) 

• Preferred: University degree in Marketing, Management, Government, Humanities, or a related field.

• Native English speaker.

• Comfortable with technology and learning new technology (Google Apps, Office, Social Networks, Marketing Apps...).                                 

• Previous marketing, campaigning, or administrative experience preferred.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in protecting and defending life, family and human rights.

• Commitment and courage to make things change. Problem-solving attitude.

• Excellent organizational, project management and analytical skills.

• Must be a team player and be able to work on a flexible, freelance basis. 

• You will report to the Campaign Director - English and the Campaign Director - Global. 
• Based in Canada. Preference is Ottawa or Toronto. Work will be done remotely. 
• Compensation is competitive, and our organizational culture is results-oriented.
• Some travel required.
• Must have a passport.
• English.
