Canteen (Bunkers) Supervisor

Location: Glen Arbour Golf Course  

Position Type: Full-Time, Term (Until Approximately November 1)  

About the Role

As the Canteen Supervisor at Bunkers, you’ll take charge of daily operations, ensuring smooth food and beverage service while delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests. From overseeing inventory and leading a team to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service, you’ll be at the heart of our hospitality operations.  

What You’ll Do

• Serve food and beverages (including alcohol) while strictly following NS regulations.  


• Assist with food prep and cooking as needed, following proper food handling standards.  


• Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.  


• Train and supervise staff, ensuring cleanliness, proper storage, and efficient service.  


• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring consistent service and high-quality food and beverages.  


• Assist with large groups and tournaments to ensure guest expectations are exceeded.  


• Handle guest concerns professionally, resolving issues efficiently.  


• Participate in regular team meetings and training to stay updated on products, promotions, and procedures.  


• Be available to work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.  

What We’re Looking For

• At least one (1) year in a similar supervisor role.  


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.  


• Quick thinking and ability to resolve conflicts professionally.  


• Strong leadership skills with attention to detail.  


• Valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License Required for this role.  


• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and busy golf events.


• Available to work for the complete golf season - Until Approximately November 1.
