Job percentage: 100%, regular full-time. *NIGHT PREMIUM!*Immediate Supervisor: School PrincipalTHE POSITIONThis position offers an opportunity to be responsible for carrying out and supervising housekeeping, preventive and physical maintenance work, taking place exclusively in the evening or at night, in an educational establishment or building. This responsibility is assumed in the absence of the janitor, class II, foreman or management of the establishment, and covers a total area of less than 9,275 m2. In addition, he or she performs duties typical of the maintenance worker job class, class II. Join us to make a real difference in creating clean, safe and functional environments for all!THE RESPONSABILITIESEnsure cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed according to the established schedule.Supervise maintenance work performed by unskilled workers.Maintain cleaning equipment and devices in good condition.Inspect and verify lighting, heating, and ventilation systems.Ensure the operation of heating devices that do not require a stationary engineer.Perform or supervise the required preventive maintenance.Carry out minor or temporary repairs.Report damages and supervise repair work.Monitor work performed by skilled or unskilled workers.Repair doors, windows, and furniture.Assemble and install equipment as needed.Implement security measures against theft and fire.Control the entry and exit of visitors, students, and staff as needed.Prepare rooms and spaces according to requests.Submit material, product, and equipment needs for maintenance tasks.Ensure compliance with safe usage, storage, and disposal standards for products.Provide suggestions for improving products, equipment, and work methods.Use necessary computer tools for the job.Participate in coordination and safety meetings.Train new employees on maintenance and safety procedures.Keep records of maintenance work performed up to date.Perform any other related tasks as needed.

ExperienceHave three (3) years of pertinent experience.Practical skillsHave a general knowledge of the operation of the heating, ventilation, lighting and alarm systems that a caretaker oversees.Have a basic knowledge of the main building trades.Have a basic knowledge of spoken English.
