• Current/Valid G Driver's License


• Computer Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Email, etc.

• Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports


• Community Participation Supports (CPS)


• Employment supports


• Supports to people interacting with the Criminal Justice System


• Supports to people who have a dual diagnosis


• Supports to people who don't use words to communicate


• Supports to people who experience Autism


• Supports to people who experience FASD




• Ability Required:




• Current NVCI


• Current First Aid/CPR


• Able to lift 20 lbs.


• Able to perform restraints


• Able to perform CPR


• Able to provide personal care which may include lifting, bending and/or twisting

This is a posting for a Casual Direct Support Professional in the community of Peel. The wage for this position is $22.53 per hour. It will be a variety of shifts including days, evenings and alternating weekends to cover call-ins and back-fill shifts.

Wage: The successful candidate for this position will be paid according to Schedule A of the SEIU Peel/Halton Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement: currently $22.53 per hour.
