Permanent Casual position. Includes Weekdays, Evenings and Weekends 

Supporting 2 locations:  (Finch Ave and Islington Ave)

Hourly $22.87 CAD
Opportunity closing date:  Sept. 1, 2026

Start Date: ASAP

Skills Required:

• DSW or CYS Diploma


• Current Valid FULL G Driver's License an asset


• Computer Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Email, etc.

Experience Required: 

• Behaviour supports


• Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports


• Community Participation Supports (CPS)


• Employment supports


• Supports to people who have a dual diagnosis


• Supports to people who don't use words to communicate


• Supports to people who experience Autism


• Supports to people who experience FASD

Ability Required:

• Current NVCI


• Current First Aid/CPR


• Able to lift 20-25 lbs


• Able to perform restraints


• Able to perform CPR


• Able to provide personal care which may include lifting, bending and/or twisting

The ideal candidate will have the following assets:

• Ability to work independently and in a group setting


• Ability to research, create and facilitate meaningful community activities, build curriculum and lesson outlines


• Creativity, planning, organization


• Strong time management skills 


• Person Directed Program Planning


• Community Connections - building partnerships


• Great customer service skills


• Understanding of Passport


• Ability to work at any community location/venue

The successful candidate will be selected based on Article 13.03 of the UFCW Toronto-York Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement.
