Casual Safety Watch (Lloydminster) - Now Hiring!

HIRING FOR THE 2026 TURNAROUND SEASON!

We are seeking to fill multiple casual Safety Watch positions for the 2026 Turnaround Season involving plant turnaround projects. This role is dedicated to monitoring the safety of workers performing a variety of tasks within different industrial facilities.

No industry experience? No problem, we have an incredible training program to ensure your success. Experienced? We would love to hear from you. At United Safety we value diversity and welcome all experience levels.

*Please note that training will commence in May of 2026.

Job Scope may include, but not be limited to, the following hazardous environment protection roles:

• Confined space monitor (when workers are inside the vessel)


• Fire watch (when workers performing hot work)


• Bottle watch (operating and attending breathing air supply equipment)


• Gas monitoring (using electronic gas monitoring devices to assess air quality in work area)


• Safety monitoring for other activities, including but not limited to: blinding, blanking, valve removal, piping, etc.


• Breathing apparatus activities

Requirements

• 18+ years old


• Eligible to work in Canada


• Local candidates within Lloydminster area


• H2S Alive


• Standard First Aid and CPR


• CSO


• CSTS-20 or CSTS-09


• Able to successfully complete our 5-day training program including a physical demands test and drug and alcohol test
