Cat -Vac Operator

Job Title: CAT -VAC Operator 

Job
Summary: 

This
position is based on a worksite and involves the safe and efficient operation
of CAT Vac equipment. Successful candidates must be mechanically inclined,
physically fit, and capable of working outdoors in a variety of weather
conditions. Preference will be given to individuals with prior industrial
experience, particularly those with experience operating wiggle wagons.

Duties
and Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate CAT Vac
  equipment in accordance with company and site procedures.
  
• Be physically capable of performing required
  duties and working in a variety of weather conditions.
  
• Accurately complete all required daily
  documentation, including logbooks, customer work orders, field -level risk
  assessments (FLRAs), and pre - and post -trip inspections.
  
• Carry out assigned tasks as directed by
  Dispatch and/or Supervisors.
  
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of
  assigned equipment through daily housekeeping and routine care.
  
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings, and comply with
  all company, client, and site -specific safety policies and procedures.
  
• Operate and maintain all BME tools and equipment in accordance with
  established standards and operating procedures.
  
• Ensure all required certifications, training, and qualifications remain
  current and valid.
  
• Adhere to all applicable Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and
  WHMIS regulations.
  
• Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement in safety,
  efficiency, and service delivery.
  
• Deliver professional, customer -focused service in all interactions and
  job -related activities
  

Qualifications: 

• Possess
  a minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  
• Previous
  CAT Vac, Wiggle wagon experience.
  
• Previous
  or related experience operating at least three of these types of
  units:  Water, Vacuum, Hydro, or Combo Vac units,
  considered an asset.
  
• Mine drive experience 
  
• Eligible
  to work at Syncrude Site.
  
• Clear
  verbal and written communication skills. 
  
• OSSA
  (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
