Catering Delivery Driver/Catering Dispatch - Commerce Place

Sunterra will provide the Van; you provide an outstanding delivery service! As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for catering and/or customer home delivery. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Make sure customers are taken care of and the store and delivery van looks great at all times.
-Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delightful service.
-Deliver all catering orders and home deliveries.
-Ensure that all orders are properly organized prior to leaving store
-Maintain catering van in good working order.
-Coordinate supplies needed for catering deliveries.
-Ensure high-level of customer service and appropriate behaviour in all dealings with corporate and social catering clientele.
-Work very flexible hours and handle unpredictability of daily demands of catering delivery schedule.
-Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
-Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
-Operates and sanitizes all equipment in a safe and proper manner
-Performs other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Team Lead (Department Manager), Assistant Managers or Manager.
-Prepare transfer sheets, invoices, and other dispatch documents manually or electronically
-Assemble production orders and record contents manually or electronically,
-Oversee loading and unloading of goods from suppliers
-Inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices or packing slips
-Meticulous reconciliation of packing slips to product received
-Organizational skills for distributing and storing product

Qualifications:

-Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership.
-Valid Driver’s License, with a clean driving record.
-Driver's Abstract required upon hiring.
-Ability to perform physical requirements of position.
-Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
-Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
