We’re looking for aCertified Millwrightto join ourAthabasca Oriented Strand Board (OSB) division, located in Slave Lake, Alberta. Thisstate-of-the-art facilityhas the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to manufacture a broad range ofinnovative forest productsfor customersaround the world.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
Experience working as a Millwrightwith avalid Interprovincial Ticket.
Experiencetroubleshooting hydraulicsystems.
Ability toread blueprints, plans and schematics.
Strongproblem-solvingskills.
Commitment to working safely.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability towork independentlywith little supervision.
Previous experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.

In this role you will:
Work with ahigh-performance teamdedicated tomaintaining all mill machineryincludingpumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and hydraulic systemsinvolved in the manufacturing process.
Keep our systems running smoothly by performing preventative and predictive maintenance. This includes inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
Find safe, creative ways to boost equipment reliability and streamline our processes.
Apply your knowledge, skills and experience to troubleshoot issues and come up with safe, reliable fixes to keep the mill running.
Share your knowledgewith the next generation of maintenance rockstars – our Apprentices.
