Chargé de projets sénior - Construction

As a Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Vice President of Construction. You will also be called upon to work with various specialists and professionals to ensure compliance across different projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• 
  

  Evaluate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment based on quotes, plans, and specifications;

  
  


• 
  

  Review and analyze received bids, recommend their acceptance, and negotiate contracts;

  
  


• 
  

  Establish and maintain bidding, control, and reporting systems and procedures;

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare cost and expense reports and forecasts throughout the duration of projects;

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain directories of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors;

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with professionals (engineers, architects, contractors, etc.);

  
  


• 
  

  Assess the impact of changes and adjustments on cost estimates;

  
  


• 
  

  Manage, coordinate, and monitor the progress of construction projects.

  
  

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 
  

  5 to 8 years of relevant experience in construction project management

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written, due to the nature of the tasks and interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, or clients across Canada

  
  


• 
  

  Strong leadership skills

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to travel across Canada
