This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) based in Canada.
This is a rare executive leadership opportunity to take full ownership of a high-growth consumer wellness and lifestyle business entering its next scaling phase. The organization is already profitable with a strong foundation in mindfulness, health, and personal development products serving a global audience. As CEO, you will be responsible for shaping long-term strategy, driving operational execution, and leading the company through a transformational growth journey from mid-eight-figure revenue toward a significantly larger global footprint. You will work closely with the Founder transitioning into a Chairman role, helping define structure, leadership systems, and scalable operating models. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. It is ideal for an executive who thrives at the intersection of growth, culture, and operational excellence.
Accountabilities
- Lead the overall strategic direction of the business, defining and executing a growth plan to scale revenue significantly while staying aligned with the company’s mission and values.
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and strong execution across all departments.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Own financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand global reach.
- Collaborate with product and commercial teams to guide innovation across wellness, health, coaching, events, and consumer product offerings.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including investors, partners, customers, and the board.
- Define organizational structure and operating model in partnership with the Founder during the transition period.
- Champion operational excellence by optimizing systems, processes, and cross-functional execution.
- Serve as the cultural leader of the organization, reinforcing values and ensuring alignment across the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior executive leadership role such as CEO, COO, Managing Director, or Executive Operations Director.
- Demonstrated success scaling a business and driving substantial revenue growth in a consumer-facing or product-driven environment.
- Strong operational, strategic, and financial acumen with the ability to lead end-to-end business performance.
- Experience within wellness, health, FMCG, consumer goods, or adjacent lifestyle industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including experience working with boards and investors.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution.
- Degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
- Passion for wellness, mindfulness, personal development, or purpose-driven consumer brands.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment.
