Chief Operating Officer

Our client is a diversified and growing asset-based transportation company, with a reputation for outstanding service. We are conducting a search for a Chief Operating Officer to be based in Saskatoon SK.

Key responsibilities for the COO include strategic planning and execution, leadership and development of the management team, cultivating a high-performance environment by implementing best practices, optimizing resources, and overall financial oversight for the organization.

Qualifications for this position include 10 to 15 years of senior management P&L experience within industry (transportation would be ideal, however other industry experience will be considered), a proven track record of successfully managing large scale operations and driving business growth, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a high level of integrity with the commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.

This role reports to the CEO (Owner) and has an outstanding compensation plan including base salary and incentive. Future growth within the business to the CEO level is attainable.
