Claims Advocate

Our client, in appliance industry is seeking a claim associateto join their team. As a Claim associate you will be a part of their finance department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in claims, and  good communication  skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Claims Associate

Location: Mississauga, ON 

What’s the Job?

 

1. Issuing and filing customer credits, and follow up on pending credits
   
2. Retrieve dispositions from the CRM system (CSG group) to process credits
   
3. Issuing and filing billings for refurbish centers
   
4. Interact with dealers, refurbish centers, sales representatives, sales support department, A/R department and accounting department
   
5. Data Entry of credits and debits
   
6. Making decisions according to policies and procedures and Sarbanes Oxley for field scraps, damage allowances and return authorizations
   
7. Collaborates with logistics team, dealers and sales team to resolve claims
   
8. Researching shipping discrepancies, such as shortages, overages and outstanding credits
   
9. Communicates with carriers to issue return authorization for refused product and redirect to refurbish.
   
10. Making sure that RA's are cleaned up within 60 days, credits to customers and re-bill to the refurbish centers.
    

What’s Needed?

 

1. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
   
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
   
3. Knowledge of SAP, Claims Web Page, Excel and Word.
   
4. Highly organized and able to prioritize
   
5. Energetic, assertive, punctual, reliable and be able to work both as a team player and alone
   
6. Problem solving and decision making
