Class 1 Truck Driver (Fly-In Fly-Out)

Job Requirements:

MATRIX is looking for an experienced casual Class 1 Truck Driver to join the team. This position is for remote camps across Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures health and safety by following company policies & processes and acting in a responsible manner at all times, while on the job.
• Performs all pre and post trip inspections to ensure effective operation of truck and equipment.
• Loading, unloading, and fasten materials safety and securely to flat deck commercial trailers.
• Performs roadside repairs as needed.
• Complete all required safety paperwork.
• General laborer duties as required.

• Minimum of 2 years commercial truck driving experience is required, including driving truck and flat deck combo loads and familiarity with manual transmissions.
• Must have a valid and current Class 1 license , and clean drivers abstract.
• Previous remote and off-highway driving experience, such as low-bedding is preferred
• Must be willing to travel for work
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Physical ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs., Walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.
• Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, TDG, Fall Protection) are all desired.

Salary Range

$500-$600/day depending on skills and experience, paid vacation.

All expenses covered when out of town.
