KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily cleaning of all common areas, including corridors, lobbies, entrances, and office spaces
Sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and presentable environment
Sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the day, including fitness equipment and amenity areas
Clean and maintain washrooms and shared amenities on an ongoing basis
Clean glass surfaces, patios, and BBQ areas daily
Conduct daily interior and exterior walkthroughs to remove garbage, debris, and pet waste
Inspect and clean the garbage room daily
Complete weekly tasks including:
Vacuuming corridors and sweeping stairwells
Dusting and maintaining vacant suites to ensure rent-ready condition
Deep scrubbing of tile surfaces using appropriate equipment (e.g., floor machine)
Support suite readiness by:
Preparing suites for move-in with final touch-up cleaning
Completing suite turnover cleans as required
Maintaining show suites to a high standard
Perform periodic cleaning duties, including:
Carpet shampooing of all floors (approximately every 6 weeks)
Ongoing spot cleaning of walls and surfaces
Maintain exterior service areas, including daily sweeping of the loading dock and touch-up cleaning of the parkade
Carry out other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks throughout the day
Physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required to support communication with residents, team members, and management
