Cleaner / General Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a Cleaner/General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have general knowledge of building repairs and maintenance. This role will consist of the following responsibilities.

• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of our locations.
• cleaning the interior of shops as required.
• Maintain daily cleaning schedules
• Maintain the general functionality of the buildings equipment.
• Respond to, assess and complete necessary repairs as they surface.
• Assess if a professional needs to be called to complete more extensive repairs.
• Communicate and coordinate with appropriate tradespersons (Plumbers, Electricians etc.)
• Ensure that all repairs are being completed properly and responsibly for safe and proper completion of tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance

• Basic knowledge of general building maintenance
• Basic knowledge of general building repairs
• Cleaning experience
• Commercial Cleaning experience is an asset
