Job Description - Client Service Specialist, Group Force Benefits

Job Duration: Full-Time, Permanent, Current Vacancy


Wage Transparency: The base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.


 


About the Role


As a Client Service Specialist at Group Force Benefits, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients through various communication channels. You will be an integral member of a collaborative team dedicated to building and maintaining strong relationships with advisors, insurers, and colleagues. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and contributing to the ongoing management of our CRM system (SharePoint), ensuring information is current, organized, and accessible.


 


What You’ll Do



  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for advisors, insurers, and colleagues by providing timely, accurate, and informative support.

  • Deliver best-in-class customer service by responding to inquiries and service requests within established service levels and quality standards.

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with stakeholders, senior leadership, and colleagues.

  • Demonstrate collaboration, sound judgment, and confident decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

  • Resolve product and service inquiries by identifying concerns, conducting research, determining root causes, and providing effective solutions.

  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders by managing the flow of information and documentation, while maintaining accurate records within SharePoint and other internal systems.

  • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls and email communications, addressing inquiries ranging from routine to complex and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support new business, policy amendments, and complex account changes.

  • Provide administrative, clerical, and sales support services while contributing to team objectives and other assigned responsibilities.


 


What You Bring



  • Knowledge of group benefits plans is considered an asset.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the group benefits industry.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Microsoft SharePoint is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.

  • Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and the confidence to make day-to-day decisions with minimal supervision.

  • Professional, mature, and diplomatic, with the ability to remain patient and composed when managing challenging situations.
